Pizza Ranch

Had dinner for a wedding rehearsal . We had a nice private room in the back that was big enough to suit everyone. They were getting busy when we first got there, but they were able to keep up pretty good with keeping the buffet filled, clean and restocked often with the demand. Overall, it was a good meal with a decent variety

First time here and I’m impressed! We had a party of 10. They have a full salad bar, a pizza bar with dessert pizza, and a chicken and mashed potato bar! Everything on the salad bar was fresh and cold and they were consistently bringing out hot fresh pizza! And if you didn’t fill up on the buffet, you can get some soft serve ice cream to finish. There were employees around to grab all the dirty plates from the table as we made our second and third trips up to the buffet. Clean restaurant and clean restrooms!

One would think small towns would have a certain amount of friendly hospitality. It is a Sunday afternoon 4:30 p.m. and I'm here in Manchester for only one night. I am the only one in the entire restaurant. The only greeting I received was, "you have to wear your mask whenever you get up to get more food". I was wearing a retired Air Force cap and informed Krista that I was military. The response was nothing more than the cost of the meal. No hello, no asking how is your day -- I don't think I will get a , "thank you for your service".😁 She did say the buffet had not started yet. After I ordered I went back up to order a veggie pizza. She wrote down the order while standing at the counter and walked away. The food is okay and what one would expect at a Pizza Ranch. The hospitality, the congeniality, just simple friendliness is absent. I have been here for 20 minutes and yet not another customer has come in the door. Someone told Krista I was reviewing the restaurant and she has made multiple trips to my table and has been extraordinarily friendly. It is now 5:10 p.m. and people are starting to come in. They must know the buffet does not open till 5:00 pm. Other Pizza Ranches I have been to have a constant buffet.

Staff was very friendly. Buffett was open when we arrived at 4:00 pm. I ordered a gluten free pizza and they told me I had unlimited salad bar as well as any item I wanted from normal buffett. Obviously, that doesn't leave me much, but it was a nice gesture. Other pizza ranches I get charged separately for salad bar and my pizza. My family doesn't eat pork, so I asked if they could make non pork pizzas. They said yes and brought it to our table first before putting it on the buffett.
