The atmosphere here is quite nice. Plenty of seating and it doesn't feel claustrophobic in terms of the tables being too close to each other. I ordered a Mint Tea and was a bit disappointed with the fact that it was just a peppermint tea, not an Arabic mint tea, ie black tea with mint leaves and sugar. The tea was delivered without a stirrer or sugar sachets, so I had to ask for some. I received them speedily so that was alright, thank you Karak Chai staff! The takeaway drinks came in lovely cups with a beautiful design!
My friend ordered a doughnut with white and dark chocolate sauce. She said it was quite warm but it felt like it was warmed up in a microwave, however tasted nice. Our friends ordered the Karak chai and they liked it very much!
One of my best experiences in Manchester. Best combo to try: Churros with Kadak Chai ... absolutely delightful. Everything we had was amazing.
Decent tea and snacks place on Curry mile. Their masala tea is amazing. We also liked pani puri. Pav bhaji needed some butter and lime but apart from that we had an enjoyable experience. Service staff is very good too. Recommended place.
I used to order a lot from their shop the last few months. Specially their breakfast menu as it’s quite reasonable price wise and their portions are very generous. It was great being able to visit the actual shop a few days back. The service is good. You order and pay at the till before being given a number to pick a seat with. They bring you the food once it’s ready. They’ve a good menu and the service is quite fast. The atmosphere and vibe is definitely worth going in person for with all the Bollywood songs playing in the background at all times.
Went for breakfast with my friend. The place is pretty big, adequate seating, with booths and separate tables. It was a weekday, so the place was empty when we went in. It did start filling up as we left. We ordered an Apna Breakfast each, Samosa Chaat, and French toast to share. The service was good and the food was nice. Would go again.
Me and my mum came all the way from Birmingham, just to try their famous Karak chaii and delicious milk cakes. Tea was just absolutely and the service we received was immaculate. Priya’s customer service was amazing, she was helpful, funny and really made us feel comfortable. She greeted us happily and recommended us one of the best milk cakes and tea. We couldn’t ask for any less from her. We really enjoyed our time in here, and would recommend this to all our family and friends, as one of the best tea places in Manchester. Make sure to ask for Priya whenever you go, she will look after you.
Had a lovely brunch last week. Everything was good cooked perfectly. The hijabi girl working there was so sweet and attentive.
Nice ambiance and good food. We tried Omelette breakfast and Halwa Puri Breakfast. Both were delicious but wasnt expecting frozen parathas with omelette. Thought they would serve freshly made parathas. Karak Chai with saffron was outclass. Only four tables (including ours) were occupied but still took a while for food to come. But yeah, would definitely go again to try their street food option.
Good service from staff. We got karak chai (tea) and it was spot on! Came all the way from Leeds and definitely will be coming back to have their tea again. Donuts were amazing too! Well done guys!!!
Great customer service everytime I have been here. The street has tasty as well. I ordered the Bombay Sandwich, Omelette Wrap and Chilli Paneer.
