Table for 4 with one Wheelchair user accommodated perfectly. 4 x Carvery dinners were all fresh, hot, tasty and served on a big plate (I’ve noticed other establishments go for the smaller plate option). Recommended. We shall be returning. Great staff effort. Many thanks.

Such a gorgeous new refurb. Clean, fresh, warm and welcoming. Great food and friendly service. We all loved our meals and enjoyed sitting outdoors in the beer garden. We’ll be back!

First time here will definitely be back food was amazing , waitress staff very friendly in fact all the staff very friendly couldn't have done more very surprised to see how quiet it was on a Friday night.
This is definitely one of those little hidden gems at the back of the main street brilliant food not one issue good prices as well.
£135.50 for 5 of us 5 mains 3 desserts and 3 rounds of drinks couldn't have asked for more.

Went in at lunchtime today, had a cheese burger and it was the best burger I’ve had in a long time! Huge burger, chips, onion rings, coleslaw & salad. Tasted great, amazing value, nice pub and friendly bar staff. Keep up the good work!

Lovely pub by the river friendly staff lovely outdoor seating area better than it was before a few years ago the current owners have done a lot of renovation work to make the pub a more appealing place to visit when in the town. Good central location near the town centre.
We had a lovely Covid secure meal this evening. Food freshly prepared as always and we were well looked after by attentive staff. The pub has sorted out it's processes for managing customers in this strange time but we couldn't fault it. Fajitas were excellent and the cannelloni was polished off without complaint.
Lovely friendly pub and nicest one in March. Very accomodating and covid secure and felt safe the whole time we were there. Lovely garden areas and a great ordering system at the table. Well worth a visit and we are going back on bank holiday weekend!
