What a lovely place ! It has retained the old barn character but with comfortable seating and all spotlessly clean. The staff were really friendly and the bacon sandwich was the tastiest I have ever had. I would travel a long way to visit and enjoy the food and coffee. Thank you all.

Delicious food. Obviously very popular. Visited on recommendation in Sawday's 'The Extra Mile'.
Very noisy acoustically inside as carpet doesn't deaden sound sufficiently so large groups talking and clattering of plates carry.

Stopped here a few times now whilst out cycling. Most recently on a commemorative ride and there was a lot of us rocking up at the same time. Great service from the staff who were busy enough as it was. Lovely food and a neat place with a nice atmosphere. We'll be back.

Have been here before and thoroughly enjoyed the experience so took a friend for brunch today. Lovely welcome and friendly attentive staff. Staff very flexible to ensure you can add favourites to advertised dishes, tea always topped up on request and general atmosphere cosy . Food was excellently presented and tasty. You know they take care when your poached eggs are done to perfection. Highly recommend this friendly cafe for an enjoyable experience with great food.

I have had lunch here so many times over the last couple of years I thought it was time to leave a review. We are so lucky to have this cafe, the food is always outstanding, the service is second to none and the atmosphere is a perfect blend of cosy and friendly.
I couldn’t praise the staff enough, they always strive not only to offer the best food and drink, but also the best service to go with it. A particular highlight is the top quality dishes on the specials board, it never fails to hit the spot.

Great cafe which cannot be beaten for quality. Visit the Old Barn weekly for my lunch when working from home, sure there are alot cheaper cafes, alot closer to home but when you find something this good you keep going back.
