Just had a meal there was lovely and really nice people, chef even came to take our order. Would definitely recommend this establishment xx
Just want to say a huge thank you to Claire and Karl and all the staff that made my other half 50th birthday night a huge success lovely food and plenty of laughs. Can't recommend highly enough xxxx
Awesome pub tucked away in the little village of Medstead. Family run which is always a plus. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Huge beer garden. Staff are always happy and will help anyone. Lovely atmosphere and worth a visit. Always some good pub chat with the locals or secluded spots where you can have your privacy. Huge car park and not on a busy road.
A traditional village pub with pleasant atmosphere. An ideal place for drinks after a local walk.
Went there yesterday , loved it , good service , food was ok , but could do better. Gorgeous place and nice friendly staff
Lovely pub in a beautiful village. Seems to visited by local villagers and bikers/cyclists, making a friendly atmosphere. Food is very nice, looked like it was home cooked, and portions were huge!
I have been visiting here for over twenty years, through many different phases of management, some good, some not. No matter who's running it, its OUR pub. The lads and lasses who frequent it are genuinely friendly, and regularly help out on community projects. They are all characters, some more than others, but with a common interest, Our pub.
You're welcome.
Lovely and spacious village pub. Despite not realising we needed to book in advance we were given food which was tasty and very reasonably priced. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating (except to our Liverpudlian friend who - deservedly - got the cold shoulder)! Great pub!
Would like to thank the castle of comfort for doing an amazing job at hosting our wedding reception! It was a million times better than what we could of ever hope for. We are very grateful for them taking the stress away from us seeing as though my wife is 20 weeks pregnant. Would highly recommend to anyone. 10/10.
The best pie and lovely service. Went on mother's day and recieved a mother's day gift. Very thoughtful and attentive staff.
Had some very nice and creamy Guinness here lovely open fire and very friendly and relaxing and the prices are pretty good too
1st time I have come here, and what a nice experience it was. The location is just is just to the side of the village on a quiet road. It has a beer garden to the side with plenty of seating. We sat outside the front on some comfortable seating under the shade. Drinks were fine and we just had a snack / lunch. Food was fresh, well presented and tasty. All staff were friendly and helpful. Seems to be a popular watering hole with cyclists and walkers. I am happy to recommend this pub and no doubt will be returning soon.
