Jasmine House

We came here for my birthday last night! It was top notch amazing! From the moment we sat down we were well looked after and ordered a drink. Large selection of drinks, including spirits. We ordered a lot of food between us. Highly recommend the satay chicken, which is included in the Jasmine house’ starter. Crispy chilli beef was the best I’ve ever had. The food in general was 5 star! The waiter was lovely too. Highly recommend and we will come again for sure! We live in Oakham so didn’t have to travel far. I’m physically disabled so needed to park on the street. Parking is free after 6pm if you can find a space, if not Morrisons is a short walk.

Visited the area the weekend just gone. Decided to order take out food and came across Jasmine house after a search for Chinese food on Google. So glad we did! Thee best Chinese takeaway we've had. Wish our local Chinese restaurants were as good as Jasmine House, we only live a couple of hours away! Their food was worth the trip alone. The lady on the phone and at the collection was lovely and friendly too!

We were in the area and thought we'd just nip in on the off chance luckily we got the last table for 2... wow what can I say salt and chilli spare ribs were superb along with chicken won ton to start with was banging! Our mains were fillet steak in black pepper sauce, crispy chilli beef and egg fried rice we would definitely recommend this restaurant and if were passing we will definitely come back

My husband and I have just visited this area for a few days and this restaurant has excellent reviews so we thought we’d try it. We were not disappointed. The husband and wife team who own the restaurant are charming, friendly, professional, and helpful. We ordered the set Canton meal and substituted one dish for the chicken teriyaki. Everything was fresh and delicious. We’d definitely be back if we are ever over this way again. The Buddha beer and the sake were good. The fortune cookies were a nice touch too.

This Restaurant/takeaway is situated on the main street in Melton Mowbray. Parking is limited but if you get a parking space is right outside l, after 6pm it's free. Food is typical English Chinese food. Tasty and hot. I would have preferred more spicy, but my fault for not asking for it. Definitely try the budda lager.
