Great welcoming landlady, good beer and good sandwiches. Unfortunately can only visit in good weather as dogs not allowed inside ... but not landlady's fault ! Recommended !

A Sam smiths pub with a real fire and cosy atmosphere, ideal for a stop off on a winters walk. Lovely beer.
The beer is super cheap and a great flavour can't fault it at all .it is quirky but the people at the the bar wad very nice and polite! But you need to engage to have a good time.

Incredibly well kept pub. Staff were very friendly and the usual drinks were on offer for Sam Smiths. Sadly I didn't have time to try the food.
