Visited The Bay Horse as a party of 7 on a Friday lunchtime with ex-colleagues (retired). Food was excellent, timely served and good value. Can't rate the staff highly enough, friendly and highly attentive. Best to book as it appears to be very popular and rightly so.

Excellent parmo and chips with salad. And good beer. First rate. Service very friendly and helpful. I much prefer the bar/lounge area over the formal restaurant eating area. Roaring fire in the winter. Comfy chairs and tables. Some outside seating but near the main road. Big car park. Just watch your head if you're tall, the low beams pose a risk! But it's worth it, lovely venue.

Beer here is rather pricy, but they have some nice local brands and the scenery is gorgous near Wainstone Rocks where we had hiked up and needed some place to chill before we went home. The Bay Horse is lovely, staff are friendly, not tried their food, maybe next time i'm in the area?

Always great food and service. My husband said the lamb curry from the specials was the best he has ever had. Shame it is often very hot in there, it became uncomfortable at our last couple of visits.

Enjoyed a lovely meal last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Service was great and we weren't waiting long . Definitely will return.

5 stars doesn’t do this place enough justice! Food was phenomenal and reasonably priced for the high quality. Service was faultless, every member of staff was attentive and the service was rapid but we didn’t feel rushed. We would recommend this place to anyone and will certainly be back!
