Really impressed, as a vegetarian, I had plenty of options to choose from, you can build your own meal and add your own vegetarian I option, and they have wine clearly marked on the menus. Food was good. Service was great, thanks to Lisa, the deputy manager, who was very friendly, helpful, and offered to get our drinks for us too. Great atmosphere cos I love sport and they have sport screens everywhere.

We stayed at the Sporting Lodge and used the pub for a night of drinking and also for breakfast the next morning. Bar staff were great, very friendly and chatty. The bar manager runs a great team and I would recommend here if you stay at the Sporting Lodge.

Very loud and very busy. The barmaid/waitress helped us tremendously with my wifes gluten free needs. Our food arrived hot and was delicious.
I did ask one of the other waitresses if I could have another drink and rather disappointingly was told I'd have to go to the bar as it was too busy. I didn't bother as I wanted to keep eating hot food and not queue for 10 minutes. That lost the 5th star. If I'm eating with table service, I like to drink with it too.

Me and my partner went to the post house today 3-5 -2023 for a few drinks bar staff where so miserable and looked very miserable and unhappy when stood at the bar they made us feel uncomfortable and not very opening and welcome to our approach when trying to conversate with them .
Me and my partner ended up going elsewhere for a more friendly atmosphere
We won't be going back to this establishment
