Miss this place and it’s your loss, it has been closed due to Covid and now under new management.
Breakfast first class local produce.
Last night I had Ham and Eggs Simple pub grub but the Ham was amazing.
I also popped in for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago it was gorgeous.
You’re guaranteed a friendly welcome good service and a relaxing night’s sleep.

Very welcoming, accommodating and comfortable overnight stay. Extremely satisfying evening meal and great choices of breakfast, including traditional and less so varieties. Also available, cooked lunches, coffee and snacks. Really enjoyed our stay with our canine family member and would definitely return.

I would like to say a massive thank you to the pub landlady what great service we received unfortunately they couldn't accommodate us for lunch but advised us of another pub and even called the pub to check for us never get great service like this nowadays. We will be back to repay your kindness very soon thanks again.

Strange, we had to pay for our breakfast. Ok rooms and breakfast but no hot water in the morning, the boiler broke down. They could not accommodate us for an evening meal , they had a big 'do' on but the manageress took the trouble of finding a local pub and booked a table for us, very kind. We came back after the meal to a packed house with everybody enjoying themselves on a colour full drag night but not noisy enough to disturb us in our cosy warm rooms.

This is a very pleasant place to stay, the staff are all welcoming and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. I would recommend the Queens Head and would stay again.
