I've had much bigger pieces of fish for the price of £20 for 2 medium fish and chips to be fair but taste is very good regardless.

Fishnchickn is my go to take away, food is always amazing and cooked perfectly. Always 5 stars for them on food. Even tonight after ordering my food and the deliveroo driver messed up by collecting and delivering the wrong order. I eventually ended up having to go to the restaurant myself at 7pm to collect my dinner that I originally ordered at just after 5. This was by no means any fault of the restaurant. Their customer service was 10/10.

Had a takeaway from fishnchickn on Friday and it was great arrived at the shop to order and collect at what I thought would be dinner rush hour about 6pm, however everything was organised and in hand so the process was very smooth! Order 3 meals and came to £27 which was great value for a large fish and chips, jumbo sausage and large chips and a seniors fish and chips with mushy peas. Batter to the fish was light and fluffy and tasted great the pieces of fish were great and the chips were thoroughly doused in salt & vinegar as they should be. Overall great takeaway with great service and food.

So... Quality of food based on price? Amazing, the double chicken burger was smashing! But that last star is not there because of the front member of staff. I went there on a Sunday late afternoon, not too busy so that would explain the wait as I've ordered 4 double chicken burgers plus chips and a fish and chips (not all for myself 😂). The person who took my order didn't knew that the hamburgers finished so later I've asked to be replaced with chicken ones which was fine, it can happen... But the chicken burgers were on the menu with a choice of sauce, he never asked, or if I want the receipt or not, he didn't ask... Also, after a long wait, I received my order only to realise that he didn't put salt on the chips... Or give the option of getting salt or sauce for them from anywhere... So the experience overall... Maybe it was after a long day running around and skipping lunch... But those chicken burgers were absolutely awesome! If this is seen by the lady that made them, they were the best chicken burgers I've had in a long time... If it's seen by the person who prepared my order... Salt the chips please!
