Popped in as we were close by must say the best fish and chips we have had in a long time and you were right the turbot was lovely, everything cooked fresh . Staff we’re helpful. Worth going a few extra miles for this we will be back.

So happy this is my local chippy. Top quality with a great menu. Always a special fish going. Had the John Fory today - it really is worth the money. Portion sizes are generous and always get a friendly service. Happy with the usual wait as I know they make their fish fresh to order. Would highly recommend.

I previously gave 5 star review because the food was hot, tasty and lovely. Can’t fault it. However my recent experience is that everything was fine but the fish size was small. I paid for the largest cod so I’ll expect a large cod.
I would prefer if the shop kept the same portion size and increase the price, but it seems they kept the price the same and decreased the portion size.
Everything else was great, maybe offer an extra extra large for those who want it?

An amazing Coeliac friendly offering. Special gluten free fryer. Just had large chips with battered sausage and curry sauce with vinegar. AMAZING.

Fantastic Gluten-Free fish and chips, everything is available gluten free and I have never had any problems whatsoever since I have been using Walnut Tree FnC. Food is always cooked perfectly and the portions are generous.
