A lovely atmosphere, especially when the open fire is roaring! This old, traditional pub serves real ale for every palette, blonde/dark/amber … all lovely! The staff are friendly and even made a fuss of our dog too!

The only local pub I know of that has Ossett Brewery's chocolate orange stout (Voodoo) on tap as a regular beer. Stop by whenever we pass on our bike rides. Lots of outdoor seating out front and a nice big cosy beer garden round back too. They don't serve food here, but there's a nice Fish & Chip place down the road, so we came today to sit outside with a drink while we ate.

A beautiful pub with traditional ales and friendly staff! Always a wide selection of real ales, wines, ciders and lagers. Well worth the visit if you are nearby.

Lovely place. Always. Good selection of beers. A must if you're in or near Hopton. Generally just pub snacks (crisps, etc), food only on special occasions.
