Called in for early evening meal. Absolutely brilliant. My wife and I ( together with our dog ) both had roast lamb . It was superb, never had better. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.
We went for lunch today. Ordered fish and chips my partner got 12 chips or her plate. I got 11. Plate was full of oil and the service was bad. We won't be back. . This was a good place to eat. Not now.

I stayed in one of the cottages at the back of the hotel. Spacious, even complimentarty chocolate. The bed was comfortable and the room was quet at night.|The food at the hotel was unpretentious but very acceptable. I would recommend the steak and Guinness pie from the main menu and the roasts from the specials boards.
