Me and my family love this pub, mega mixed grill is amazing, always perfectly cooked. Fish and chips is also a family favourite. Great pint great atmosphere and the staff are always friendly. We travel from Liverpool at least once a month an here is the only place we go.
Great little pub / restaurant . Very friendly welcoming staff . All of them . Good home cooked Sunday lunch and a nice varied menu . They went out of their way to fit me in . They were fully booked . This speaks volumes of how good and popular a place it is . I would go again , and I’ve been several times before .
We visited the queens head today for a special celebration and there were 40 of us booked in, we all had lovely meals and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend the Sunday dinner it is delicious x
Good food, friendly staff and good atmosphere.
Fantastic staff, excellent food, wide variety of drinks. Also, customers prepared to offer advice on what they consider to be a good alternative drink than is your normal tipple!!!!
Omg the Sunday roast was gorgeous hot and tasty and plenty of it was the best hottest roast ive had in a pub highly recommend
We had a table booked for 9 family 👪 members, to celebrate mothers day. From the time we all arrived,we were made to feel very welcome, by nicky the manager, and another gentleman, sorry did not know his name.we were shown to our table by him.
The waitress came and took our orders,and was polite and professional.
We did not have to wait long,to be served, with our meals, which were delicious. . They have great meal deals on in the week,at great prices. Just like to say a big thank you, to nicky, all staff,and of course the chef, for making my mothers day special.

From the moment you walk in your greeted with a smile and welcomed. Pete is a fantastic host who was friendly and polite.
