We popped in for lunch, it wasn't very busy and we found a table quickly. The staff were polite and friendly and service was quick! There was a good selection of beers and the wine was served in a good glass! The food was delicious!

The best Sunday roast i've had in years. Had to go back again and their usual menu is just as good. Very dog friendly with a small menu for them too

We popped in for Sunday Lunch on my parents recommendation after they had stayed for a couple of days during the summer. The staff were great really friendly efficient and couldn't do enough to make our brief visit a memorable one, food was out of this world 😋. "We will be back " as Arnold says.

Dropped in at the drop of a hat for evening meal. 4 adults and 2 dogs, they couldn't have been more welcoming. Absolutely fantastic food and well worth the price. If your in the area would recommend stopping in. Very friendly staff. Very dog friendly.

Fantastic! The food is delicious with a varied menu, so much to choose from. The staff are lovely, nothing too much effort. The room was spotless and was luxurious. The whole stay is an experience and I highly recommend and definitely return.

Bit of a last minute booking as we weren't going to bother because of the weather. Hadn't been since before lockdown so we made the effort, glad we did. Service was excellent, although I would say that the younger staff need to smile and not look so bored, I was in hospitality at your age so I know how it feels. Food was beautifully cooked and tasted great, I had every intention of having a desert but was too full after starter and main. Definitely wont be another 4 years before we return.

First pub where I've been to that made me feel so welcomed and relaxed. As a person of colour I've had a few bad experiences at pubs elsewhere so I tend to get anxious visiting new places however the staff are a massive credit to the place. So attentive and friendly and prompt great conversation. The Sunday dinner was incredible, thanks again to all the staff I cant wait to come back! Genuinely blown away with the whole place and experience we were there for nearly 4 hours.

Great little pub, food was amazing. Baby changing facilities and a ramp for access as well as the stairs. Part of the pub is dog friendly. The car park is quite small, could be off putting for some as it's quite a tight car park to manoeuvre in. When busy you may need to park on the road. Very nicely done out pub

What a wonderful place. We stopped for a meal with our wee dog while on holiday. To find such a warm, friendly and welcoming place with it's own dog menu was amazing. We had a fantastic meal, and our dog enjoyed every scrap of his meals. I wish them every success, it was a truly lovely experience for us and our dog. I can't recommend this place highly enough Thank you for making our holiday even more special. Lucie, Bernie and Rebus x

We stopped here by chance but were not disappointed. The food was excellent; I had stonebass with risotto and everything on the plate was perfect. Somebody in the kitchen has got a lot of talent but the whole team is on the ball. Service was excellent. The pub itself is beautiful and set in a great little village. Good beer guide listing is well deserved.
