Really friendly staff and fair prices for the drinks. It's a big pub with lots of seating, there is a pool table too although we didn't use it. We only stopped for a couple of drinks but will head back at some point to try the food as the menu looked good.
There are some outdoor seats to the front and side of the pub. There is also a kids' climbing frame area outside and another larger playground across the road from the pub.
There is a good deal of free parking at the pub too.

Nice place to relax and unwind because of the wonderful lady at bar who is great with kids and the young man who serves our monthly treat with a smile. The kids had great fun in the play area. There's a fantastic steak deal on a Thursday which is delicious and came with onion rings, chips, mushrooms and peas. My son enjoyed his cheesy pasta and my daughter liked her chicken dippers. Both enjoyed their ice-cream. We'll keep coming back for our monthly treat.

We have been here several times and enjoyed the food and drink each time, this time I had the cheese/leek and potato pie with chips and peas. The wife had the steak and ale pie with chips and peas both meals were lovely, no room this time for pudding but they are all very nice. It's just a shame that there were not many people in the pub, well worth a visit.

Staff were very welcoming explained about the car park entering your car reg explained so not to get a ticket. The menus were explained and food was quick with very efficient service. Highly recommend and will be returning.

Took my two younger boys for a pub visit today which is not something we do a lot and they were very excited,, the lady behind the bar was amazing with them and treated them fabulous the smiles on there faces made my day. The food was delicious and all the staff were very friendly. It wasn’t overly busy which relaxed me as I panic of people getting annoyed with my boys laughing and being excited. Will definitely be returning

Great service and great food.
Pub was lovely and clean and the new land lord and waitress Paula were lovely and friendly.
We only wish we could have stayed for a few cocktails

Took my mum for lunch there today , 21/06/23 , service was excellent again , Pauline is friendly and provides excellent service.
Food was lovely , and the atmosphere was great again .

Friendly atmosphere Georgia served us very polite, very helpful with the menu as there is vegetarians and gluten intolerance in the party would definitely go again.

Been here a few times , every time I go in it seems there is a different landlord (is it something I have said). Anyway when ever I have had something to eat, it's always hot and served to the table in a reasonable time. Always been driving so never had the chance to try the beers. Friendly staff. Give it a try.
