Best place for kids! Shame it was cash only, didn't have food but from the menu and what other had it looked lovely. Play area is amazing and suitable for all ages. I had a 1 year old and 8 year old and both had lots to do and enjoy! Would definitely recommend to families or for couples. Very welcoming place!

My wife and I came this afternoon for food, and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised, the restaurant was quiet just us and 3 others. The food was really good the steak was so tender and the homemade chips & lasagne were beautiful. The log fire was a bonus as its so cold out, really surprised how quiet it was the place is a hidden gem

The food was very good that we had on Sunday, but it wasn't the normal Sunday dinner as what we all ways have, it was a normal menu with different types of dishes. You could have still enjoyed the food mind. THINK you should find out before you book a table if it is a traditional Sunday lunch, or if they have a different menu on for the day.

Delicious Scrumptious Amazing Wonderful Out of this worlds Second to none The best about The best for miles Don't eat there done eat anywhere Go there now and go for the food, plain and simple atmosphere, dreamy delicious nourishing home cooking Don't listen to me listen to my belly I'm fat lol Shaun is the best cook in Wales period Anyone who believes anything other than this to be true is just dull Any review less than 5 star is just ludicrous

Absolutely love it here. Never had a bad meal, amazing food and reasonably priced. Friendly and welcoming staff, such a beautiful place. Will always be our first choice for a meal out.

Very cosy and inviting pub . Staff very welcoming . Make you feel welcome . Food very good price and really nice . With home made hand cut chips. Highly recommended. Spacious carpark across the road . With a well equipped park for young children . Seating for parents and picnic tables . So if out and about go on old canal road to Aberdulais and pop in . For a bite to eat. Or even a cuppa staff very friendly.
