Nice eggs Florentine! Always good to get house made Hollandaise. Great spot for a morning drink in the sun. The staff are friendly too. Decent prices. Coffee wasn't as yummy as I hoped though.

Visited Ford with friends. Food was amazing, mushroom chips with blue cheese sauce were an amazing new experience. Mussels and squid were delicious and the lamb was cooked to perfection. Sticky date pudding with extra toffee sauce was to die for and the beautiful young lady that served us was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Great value for money overall experience was comfortable and inviting.

May have been the best meal so far in NZ. A beautiful filet of fish (very generous helping) over roasted vegetables and a sweat potato sauce with pesto. $25 NZD. Also Earl grey tea in a loose leaf tea pot, not a tea bag. Coming back.

I got a coffee from Ford’s. it’s really good as been recommended to me. Astonishing amazing atmosphere when you have your coffee outside. Friendly staff and lovely place.

Outstanding meal. The lamb blackstrap and it was amazing. My brother had the fish of the day on the risotto and will not stop talking about it.

We dine here 3 or 4 times a year and have never been disappointed. We dined there tonight on the occasion of our Silver Wedding Anniversary and we were made so welcome and felt so special. As always, the food was superb and the service beyond expectation, definitely our favourite place to eat in Nelson. Keep up the good work team Ford's.

When a dinner table plunges in to silence as the main dishes have been placed , you know the chef has done something right! We were lucky enough to stumble upon this restaurant last night and have returned tonight! The service exceptionally friendly and efficient, the ambience warm and music lovely- quiet- we can talk easily, the food mesmerisingly superb .. thank you to Fords.
