So, so, SOOOOO good! If you want lunch that’ll fill you up and be the best meal in Nelson, look no further. Authentic taste, fresh ingredients, short waiting time and a friendly service to top it all off! The working times are very short but well worth to plan your day around stopping here for your meal, you definitely won’t regret it.

Easily the best falafel sandwich I've had in NZ, and I've tried a few. Delicious pita as well, which is a game changer considering how many other places seem to think a tortilla is good enough.. it isn't. Highly recommend this place.
It's also located in a little food cart pod where you can grab a beer and any number of other food options if you're with someone who is, mistakenly, not in the falafel mood.

Saed’s Falafel is amazing! Cannot recommend more. Best souvlaki I've had anywhere in NZ. Saed is super lovely and we could not recommend his service or food more. Being based in Kirby Lane is also epic, and to top it off, there are vegan options available too!
Hubby had the Chicken Souvlaki, with homemade garlic aioli, hot chilli and chips! I had the Falafel Souvlaki with Tahini and Chilli and it was delicious. Homemade falafel cooked fresh, fresh salads, soft fresh pita bread... How good! Thank you so much, Saed!

I’m not usually a fan of falafel but Saed said this one’s different! He was right it’s homemade falafel and super fresh. I had my first 2 days ago and here again today! Loved it! Highly recommend

Love having a walk around Nelson’s town and finding the GEMS and Saed’s Falafel simply and wonderfully exceeds all others!! I am a long time lover and tester of anything falafel and I cannot pass up an opportunity to eat here.
