Had a great dinner here before leaving the South Island. We had some great dining out experiences, in the 2 weeks we spent in Sth Island, and this place didn't disappoint. Staff were helpful and cheerful. We had burgerof the day and a pint special, and the spicy shrimps and chicken strips crumbed. Followed up with Cremé Brulee. It was all beautiful. Beware the spicy shrimp is Spicy. Creme Brulee was complex and beautiful with Rhubarb and ginger

Great spot, the only pub worth going to in Tahuna. Can get busy at times, but much better since they expanded the outside area. Like all Sprigs, they have great bike parking too Very handy and secure being in clear view within the outside area. Oh yea the beers good to, but that's a given 🍻

Very highly recommended. Service couldn't be better, even answered some questions we had on beers and the complex desert. They were very busy for a Tuesday and apologized for the delays which we barely noticed.

It was incredibly busy today. A hot sunny day may have caused this. Despite how busy it was the turnaround for food and drinks was incredibly quick.
The food was very tasty and the hard lemonade was excellent.

We came here because they allow dogs inside and on a winter night that sold it for us as we have a dog and are on holiday. We loved the raucus atmosphere of soccer guys still in their bright orange strips, a rugby crowd, guys in woolen caps and dress ups. Lots of casual, loud people . The food was cooked from scratch and was really, really good. Our little dog was welcomed. Great place. Authentic community beach place.
