The Parotta was some of the best I’ve ever had before! I got an Indian take out staple just to base review on with Butter Chicken and also some Channa Masala, one of my favorite vegetarian curries. Both were excellent. The butter chicken was super soft and all flavors were perfect. The samosa was almost in an egg roll wrapper. It was still delicious, don’t get me wrong, but I wasn’t expecting that type of shell I guess? I would order here again!

Had a wonderful takeaway lunch from Tamil. It was our first time ordering there and we weren't certain what to choose - they made us a number of dishes to try and all were fantastic, every last one of them! Our favourites were the lamb curry (just WOW), a paneer dish, and the Parotta bread was such a nice change from chapati - beautiful and flaky. The Channa was also great. We'll definitely be coming back again for a dinner in house. Thanks so much for the lovely lunch! : )

the lassi was warm and oddly flavoured, we then found the mix was made in house (which is great!) we sent it back and once they added ice it was good but very watery. We had to send back the hot chai tea as well as it came out cold, it took till the end of our starter to get it back. We ordered two Dosa’s, both came in cold (and not spicy even with us asking for extra spice). Overall the waiter was very kind and tried to accommodate us but the food was unfortunately bland and cold. We hope to come back with a better experience.

The BEST meal! We both had the Thali (one meat, one veg) which was (between us) a selection of 6 different curries, all chosen by the kitchen, with a choice of homemade bread..plus rice, pappadum, pickle, yoghurt and dessert. We added a super thick and delicious mango lassi and the other half had a local IPA. If you are in Nelson and want to eat great, authentic and delicious food in a friendly, welcome atmosphere .....just come here....and if not in Nelson...plan a visit ! Definitely worth the trip :)

ordered the lamb curry and rice with the chicken samosas and it was absolutely delicious - no delivery fee and i was able to order completely online! the portions are pretty good for the price and the food is amazing - one of the only places in town as far as i know that delivers indian takeout, its a bit of a wait but it tells you that upfront and they were right on time, plus the food was still warm so no complaints there! definitely planning on ordering again soon. edit: they gave me enough food for a whole second meal so the portions are very good for their prices! super happy with my order :)
