You first get there and it seems like a very casual cafe but after having the food I am blown away. They cook everything top tier. I've paid way more for way worse quality food. If I ever have the option I am definitely going to come eat here again.

I was so pleasantly surprised! It isn't your average ice cream burger place in a park! They have something for everyone, vegetarian, burgers, hot dogs, regular and sweet potatoes fries, great looking salads, and kombucha on tap!! Great place to grab a bite after paddle boarding and playing in the park!

They have delicious food here and they make their own fries. They also have ice cream. And if you're vegan, that's not a problem here. It's so nice to go to Lakeside Park to enjoy community events or just a nice stroll to enjoy the views, as well as have options to enjoy the beach or rent a kayak for a very small fee, and have access to good food when you get hungry, or just want a snack. They have lovely tables with umbrellas for shade from the sun for outdoor dining, with views of pretty flowers and Kootenay Lake. :)

Love this spot. Great burgers, ice cream and such. The unsweetened house made popsicles are awesome. And they do a proper tea service which is just super.

Cute little cafe! Sits right outside a large playground and is perfect to grab coffee, decent food or popsicles/ice cream while the kids play. There are only a few tables (covered) so bring a blanket for a picnic in case its busy.
