Plum And Grain

I wish that there were more places like Plum and Grain in Newbury. A beautiful independent cafe and shop selling exquisite jewellery, little make up bags, candles, vintage crockery etc. Many times I wander in to buy some of my favourite carrot cake and come out with a beautiful treat for myself. Definitely worth a look if you're in central Newbury

What a cute little spot! Enjoyed some excellent coffee and cake in their quaint courtyard. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. The shop has unique gifts, sourced ethically from small businesses ranging from jewellery to handmade scarves and homeware. It’s my now go to place on all fronts!

Fabulous coffee, amazing cake and a selection of individual ( quite often homemade) gifts and little treats! P&G has a lovely walled courtyard garden which is the perfect spot for a chilled coffee. Kathryn and Hannah are so lovely and makes the best coffee, they are great hosts and provide great service! Thank you for being my hidden retreat in town and for sending me on my way with a coffee and smile, each and every time!

Beautiful independent cafe and lifestyle shop run by gorgeous sisters Hannah and Kath You’ll find yummy cakes made by local bakers (my current fav is the carrot cake), a vast selection of hot drinks and unique and aspirational lifestyle products. I’ve often walked out with authentic mugs, beautiful jewellery, gorgeous coloured bunny tails along with my slice of delicious carrot cake and oat latte. They have a place of calm with their outdoor courtyard space filled with luscious plants, they welcome dogs friends too 🐾🐾

Plum and grain is a little gem hidden in the town hall, make sure you don’t miss it! You get a lovely warm welcome, great coffees and amazing cakes all whilst trying to avoid buying all the beautiful jewellery, super stylish vintage home wares and lovely smelling stuff. They’re focussed on stuff that doesn’t ruin this earth which is spot on. The courtyard is a little oasis and they’ll make a fuss of your dog as well. Just perfect!

Plum and Grain is a gorgeous shop and cafe, run by super friendly sisters Kath and Hannah. They offer a curated range of beautiful jewellery, homewares, body care etc. I wear their rings and earrings pretty much ever day as they are so elegant. The cafe offers a range of cakes including vegan and gluten free options which you can take out or enjoy in the beautiful courtyard yard garden. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Newbury.
