Bert's provide an excellent selection of beers to wash down some tasty grub. It's certainly not the healthiest food in the world, but it's full of flavour. This place provides a very relaxed setting and I have always received impeccable and friendly customer service. They also provide some vegetarian options for those who choose not to eat meat-based products. Recommended!

Would give the place 5 stars but the waitresses are sometimes a little slow, and the fries that go with the burger are a bit on the small side now, other than that, great food always, great beers, fantastic milkshakes and friendly service, love the place!
The place has changed in some ways o er the years, and my last experience of it, while the ppl who work there are lovely, the food was not, shame.

Had the large English breakfast(£9), the food was decent quality with thick bacon and meaty sausages but overall nothing special though. Staff were really friendly and the service was excellent.

Shaun Walker was a brill entertainer, the Gin and beer were both well priced and well served! We will be back for food for sure- the breakfast menu looks amazing! 🤤

Nice large establishment in the heart of Newcastle. Serves lots of continental European beers with a reasonable price tag. Food is artisan and of good quality. Service is friendly with attentive staff. Overall a good place to visit if you have a group and are adults, although children are welcome too.

A very friendly bar, staff are good, You can have tab or pay as you go. The night we went they had live entertainment "A tribute to Elvis" it was a brill night.

Always great food, the staff are nice and the beer is strong, but you do pay a premium for that, not alot but still. Would highly recommend going here before you catch a film or head out on a night out.
