I've been here a couple of times already and it's been such a great experience every single time. The staff are very welcoming and lovely. The food is absolutely amazing. I have tried different dishes everytime and the quality of the food has been consistent. The place is so cosy and despite being on a busy road it's not noisy at all. The portion size are huge and you definitely get your money's worth. The service is quick and they even do deliveries. Recommend 100%
A cut above the rest of the take aways & restaurants. Very tasty / full of flavour. Tender fresh meat. It’s nice to finally find an Indian food place that provides decent food. Really recommend this.
Had the house special and was one of the best curry’s I’ve ever had. Service was fast and friendly, and portion sizes were very generous. Overall had a lovely meal with my beautiful girlfriend, have recommended it to friends and family and would definitely go again.
Fantastic meal here tonight, me and my family had a mixture of the starters and we were full up, the biryanis had so much flavour! My kids loved it and menu prices are very good
We have eaten at Moohans a few times now. Honestly, the best indian food we have ever had, anywhere in the UK. The service is second to none too, everyone is very friendly and helpful. You won't get better value for money.
Here again 🤷♂️, can't resist. Popped in for a snack, see photo.
By far the best curry I've ever had. Excellent value for money. Delicious homemade food. Can't recommend enough. Definitely now our regular go-to for a curry.
Absolutely fantastic, the best curry I've ever had, and the starters were superb. The garlic naan was outstanding, the wait time was a little long but it's so worth it for the food. Even the starters were incredible, everything presented and spiced amazingly. They also gave us a taster of their spiciest sauce, and let me tell you, these guys do spice on another level! Amazing food, great service and a lovely experience, will definitely be back.
Went to Moohans on Saturday night with my uncle for the first time. We walked up from the hospital and thought we would have a meal and moohans kitchen was the closest.
Went to sit down and staff were friendly, We ordered a Pabli chat and a chicken tikka starter, portions were a decent size and taste was fantastic.
For mains we had a Bang bang chicken and another special dish which is to hard to pronounce.
And honestly it may be the best food I've tasted next to my mother's.
The curries were very different compared to other curry houses I have been to.
Only con, food did take a little while to come out but the restaurant was full so understandable.
We recently visited in the early evening. I had Dulabhai's Thawa with lamb tikka as my main. This is a dry curry and the sauce was delicious. The lamb tikka was tender but unuually came in little slices rather than chunks or cubes of meat. The texture and appearance was a bit strange but it was okay and there was a good portion of meat. The portion size of the curry is quite generous and the size of the curry bowl it comes in is quite large.
My partner who is vegetarian had the Lamb Rogan Not Josh. She found this disappointing on a number of levels. Firstly the vegan meat looked like meat balls with a crumbly texture. She did not particularrly like the texture or the taste of this but ate most of the meat balls as she was hungry. She would have prefered a textured vegetarian meat like you get in Beyond Burgers, so solid meat protein.
She also was not fond of the taste of the curry sauce. I tried some of the sauce too and can confrim the taste was not great.
So the meal with meat in was good and the vegetarian meal with vegan meat was poor, sorry to report that.
The accompanying vegetable rice was gorgeous as was our side of garlic nan bread! Great flavours and good portion size.
Service was attentive and all our menu questions were answered well. The restaurant is family-run and friendly.
The food we had was nice and fresh and I would return again but I'm not sure about my vegetarian partner. Maybe she just made a poor menu choice and in future should stick to vegetable curries as a main course.
One of the best butter chicken curry if not the best I had. You can taste home cooking! Staff is very friendly and helpful as well!
