Absolutely phenomenal food, lovely friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. Great all-day breakfast and brunch menu. Quality ingredients and good-sized portions (Sandwiches like door stops they're so massive). Also thoroughly recommend trying the cocktails and specials. They had a good range of sweet treats as well but we couldn't manage any more after the sandwiches.

Popped in here Sat 04/05/24. Recommend booking as this place is busy! No surprise though as the food and service are impeccable. We were well looked after. Great atmosphere. They keep some tables for walk ins. We sat outside with a coffee and waited for a table which was only about 20 minutes. Staff are very attentive and efficient. Loved it.

My husband and I went to Aidans on Monday and I literally can’t stop thinking about the eggs I had (cooked to absolute perfection)!!! We were looking for brunch in Newcastle and this came up… we went and it definitely won’t be our last time! Great service, 5 star food and lovely atmosphere! If we lived closer we’d be here every week! Can’t wait to come back - Thank you!!!!

first time to visit at Aiden and I heard that pancake here is very popular and the best one in Newcastle. After I had it, more than fantastic word! It’s so nice!!! I can’t believe that becon on blueberry pancakes and maple syrup will be best combination!! (But I don’t like the drinks. So, for me I don’t recommend drinks both of the white and purple one (I forgot the name) Totally, good food (especially pancake!), good atmosphere, but not impressed the staff because we have to call them to take order 3 times.

Found the place by accident & it's served some of the tastiest food I've ever had, I plumped for a Korean beef , cabbage slaw sandwich....this was awesome!! Returned a few days later with fome work colleagues & everyone was impressed by the quality. I've booked again for a couple weeks time morning brunch with Mrs.B. highly recommended. One minor issue, parking is a mare so walk there!!

One of the best places for brunch in Newcastle. The portions are huge and everything is made with very high ingredients. The menu has a large variety dishes and everything we had was packed with flavour. We loved the neighbourhood cafe vibe and the service is always absolutely spot on. Simply amazing!

My expectations of Aidan's Kitchen were high based on reviews and reputation, and I found the food was nice, but not particularly exceptional. I had the same dish (steak and eggs) at another local brunch place the week before which was incredible, and I found this one less interesting and flavourful in comparison. The food prices are quite expensive here, which also raised my expecations, and I'm not sure it was entirely worth the premium. However, there's a good selection of sweet treats, and the cake slices are massive and decent value. There is a decent sized seating area inside, which is nicely decorated and cosy. The tables felt quite crowded together to fit more people in; as a result it can be quite loud, with many conversations going on. There is a 10% service charge added to the bill, which I've since found out is discretionary as noted on the menu, but I missed that at the time. However, it is not stated as discretionary on the bill itself, which I feel is really where it should be. The staff were friendly and service was good, but not exceptional to warrant a default service charge in my opinion.
