We were visiting the area and decided to come here based on the great reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience - the food arrived hot and full of flavour, there was a wide range of options available. The staff were very attentive and kind. We will definitely come back if we are in the area!
Ate here with my partner on holiday and it was absolutely lovely.
The food was wonderful and fresh and was prepared to perfection.
Lots of options for vegetarians too as you can choose veg and tofu to have in many of the dishes, which was great to see, and one of the main reasons I chose to give Nadon Thai a try.
Very friendly staff and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.
Will definitely be coming here again in the future.
If you're looking for a place for superb Thai food, this is it.
Go here, it will not disappoint.
We had the Pad Thai and green curry and found both really delicious and authentic. The portions sizes were great and overall we felt the food offered great value. Our waiter was also really polite and the food came quickly. Would definitely recommend.
Absolutely love Nadon Thai, the food is amazing and staff are lovely. Our food every time has tasted fresh and delicious
Had a lovely post work dinner here with colleagues.
Beef penang with coconut rice is highly recommended. Flavourful, fragrant and fairly generous portions. The lamb massaman looked excellent too.
Mango sticky rice was a tad too dry this time and the rice could have done with a bit more flavour.
Overall a great option for a Thai meal. Service and interior is lovely. Tables a little close together at the back so a loud group of men was very audible for us. And we were perhaps a little loud for the young couple sitting there before them.
Bill came to £22 each for everyone having mains, soft drinks and desserts.
Recommend!
We popped in for the early evening special that's on between half 5 and half 6 daily whilst out for a few beers.
The food was delicious, fantastic quality for the price we paid, chicken satay, sweetcorn fritters, massanan curry and panang curry, both served with rice, and a couple of beers all for just over £40.
The staff were polite and friendly, the restaurant is set out nicely, and easy access at the bottom of town.
Well be back to set about the main menu soon. Highly recommended!
Absolutely amazing food and service... my 1st visit to a Thai restaurant in newcastle with the family and I couldnt fault anything. We ordered the Happy Hour menu which included a starter and a main dish.. we ordered thai green curry, massaman curry, pad thai noodles, tom yum soup, chicken satay, dumplings and the veg tempura.. the tom yum soup was delicious..there were enough pieces of chicken and not just soup..overall we were very happy with the portions. the kids werent disappointed and swiped their food. The staff were warm, efficient, friendly and inviting.
I would definitely visit again.
Delicious food, reasonable prices and pretty good service.
We recently ate here on a Saturday evening, the service was very good. The food was even better. We had the Thai Red Curry, Soup, chicken wings and chicken satay. The cost was £40 for 2 of us with large bottle of water. Would definitely recommend.
Even though it has been a while since my last visit, the cuisine is still excellent. I decided to sample some other dishes, and they were excellent.
