Lovely place and it has halal options. The staff were friendly, service was great, the atmosphere was wonderful and the food was quite nice. The dish that I ordered was more due to my preferences in reasoning as to why I may not like it as much and not the food itself, but the desserts and drinks were all great. I most definitely recommend this place.
Absolutely lovely place! 5* everything! We came across the place during our travels in Newcastle on the day and booked in for a Sunday roast. Lovely professional quick service, lovely food, lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Only piece of constructive feedback would be to be more strict on dress code, some girls in bikinis ready for nights out whilst everyone else had made an effort to dress formally for the evening.
Came here for my husbands birthday with a couple of friends. Excellent service by a lovely waitress, they asked if it was any occasion and they all sang happy birthday to him which was lovely.
Will definitely be returning again very soon.
Wow. Pretty aesthetic environment and fresh good quality food, bit on the pricey side (payday treat) but well worth the visit if you don’t mind spending a bit extra. Best Sunday lunch I’ve had in a long time, meat cooked to perfection, huge Yorkshire’s, and rich meaty gravy with a large serving of fresh veg. Enjoyed the crispy prawns with chilli dip (batter light and fresh) also enjoyed chocolate truffles, even if I felt like a pig afterwards 😆🐷

Popped in for Sunday lunch without a reservation. It’s really well fitted out inside, I wasn’t expecting it to look a nice as it is. Like a swanky jazz club without the smoke. The music is set for a girls night out though, so it’s got a bit of an odd vibe.
There are set price menus for the lunch and I wouldn’t upgrade the meat as it’s barely different.
The food comes rapidly and the portions are substantial (probably didn’t need a main), but the flavours and quality are basic.
The waiters are OK, but made schoolboy mistakes on a number of tables. Their large wine serving wasn’t particularly large either.

Outstanding evening meal. Babucho went above and beyond all expectations with friendly service, fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere. We really felt welcomed and would love to visit again next time we are in Newcastle.

Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Our server Silan was so friendly and really attentive. The food was gorgeous, and a really good price for the portion size and taste. I got the rigatoni salmon which was so good. We were also given a cheesecake on the house which tasted so good! Overall such lovely staff and food, would definitely recommend.
Food and cocktails gorgeous. Restaurant is stunning. Highly recommend the Sunday Roast too.
