Accommodating staff, juicy scrumptious burgers and Zucchini fries! Always go "courgette" here and ask for blue cheese. Bathroom is upstairs if you're not super-able.

Food: Wide variety of burgers that are fresh and have interesting twist to them. Burgers are high quality, definitely not pub quality. Venue: Great venue with beautiful big windows and loads of space over two floors. You have tables with big benches or chairs, meaning you can fit any size of group. Staff: amazing staff, very welcome and actually genuinely nice! Definitely worth a try for a cheeky burger with your friends or significant other!

Food I had a B -rex burger with, and my wife had the Byron burger. Both burgers were excellent. I prefer my burgers well done and was asked for my preference when placing the order. I had recently eaten at the fat hippo the previous week and thought that the food in Byron was slightly better The Oreo cheesecake on an Oreo milkshake was an incredible innovative dessert. Atmosphere Charming atmosphere, seats spaced difficult far away for private conversations but close enough to have a friendly atmosphere — music playing at a reasonable volume not to distract conversation but loud enough to enjoy. Internet decor was excellent and exciting and to a high standard. This is a sharp contrast to the fat hippo which I found to be the opposite, dark (no natural light), service standard and tables sticky Toilets were clean and large. Service Outstanding service by all of the team, very friendly. I often don’t leave tips, but the team deserved it.

Staff are very knowledgeable about food allergies, gluten free buns are available and taste like normal bread buns! Great food and excellent service. Food is a little pricey but still good for the centre of the city and quality of food.

I've eaten here a few times now there's a good variety of burgers including chicken. Friendly efficient staff. Can be busy at times so expect a wait for a table . Drinks to suit every taste, beers, wines, soft drinks. All in all a pleasant experience.

We enjoyed our burgers and (shared) milkshake. The burgers seemed rather expensive, but then we noted that a fairly big helping of chips comes standard with each burger, there's no cheaper option for leaving them out. This is the main reason I'd give for knocking off a star. The chips were good, but we don't have large appetites and even once we'd both had more chips them we wanted, there were still chips left over. And, being a bit picky, the blue cheese sauce was very subtle on the blue cheese flavour. The Oreo milkshake was decently thick, and there was an option for extra malt which we took. One was perfect between the two of us. Could have done with a bit more texture - the Oreos had been utterly pulverised. To be fair, with the chips, it was more than we'd usually pay for lunch out, but the burgers were tasty and nicely done, and since the closest Gourmet Burger Kitchen is in York, we'll probably be back.
