Gorgeous food, brilliant service. Very welcoming. We asked for our meal to come traditional style and the flavours were great, especially the charsi. Our waiter was Isa, so sweet and professional and took time to explain the dishes to us. Lovely atmosphere, good tunes and comfy restaurant. Will definitely be back x

Excellent service by Gopu, he introduced himself, took the order, and made some good suggestions from the menu . My Family thoroughly enjoyed the food and service by the staff especially gopu. Meat Karai was a good dish to try . The only suggestion was they could reduce some oil especially on palak paneer. I would definitely recommend the restaurant friends and family. The ambience and decor was good as well.

Friendly staff and wonderful fast service. We have come here three times and have never been disappointed. Lamb charsi is incredible, but chicken charsi is also amazing. Dishes are not oily or with food colouring (like in some restaurants) - which tells you of their excellent standards. We shared one lamb charsi with naan between two people and this was more than enough for a dinner meal. Thank you to the incredible staff at Newcastle Akbar for a wonderful evening. The staff were also kind enough to keep us separate from a crowdy main area, and relocated us to quieter seating - always so considerate to certain requests.

First time at the new Akbar's, and just wow! The service was exceptional!! The ambience, lighting and atmosphere was dreamy. The food was out of this world. I highly recommend the Masala Fish (cod) for starters. The naan bread (or should I say carpet 😂) was incredible. I had the vegetable madras, which was so flavourful. Thank you so much for making my birthday very special. Cannot wait to return

Service was really good the waitress was fully informed the cocktails and nan where really nice the the rice and the curry not so good the deco looks good it's a liitle bit dark could do with some more lighting properly warm white will suit it tryed again it was better the curry was quit large the nans are quit big they serve alcohol as well it's chilled out little busy cozy it's a little pricey

This restaurant is always such a lovely place to dine. It exudes a warm and inviting ambiance that immediately puts you at ease. The staff and the manager are friendly and attentive, making you feel like a valued guest. The menu offers a delectable range of dishes to choose from, and the dishes are truly authentic and savory. From starters to desserts, it's truly outstanding and one of the best, I'd say. I would definitely recommend it.
