This place always has really fresh, tasty and cheap baked goods. There’s a wide range of sweet or savoury products to choose from between cakes and buns. Staff have always been friendly too and I’ve never had any issues with anything here since first coming here about a year ago.

This bakery is amazing, great food, great prices and in a really convenient location with seating. My only criticism is the trays and tongs don't seem to get cleaned between use and i find that quite off putting as they're often grubby and someone could have touched the middle or even coughed on it etc. It's not enough to stop me going but i really wish you could just fill your own box rather than use the trays at all or they would wipe them down. Also wish they did small matcha cakes, maybe I've been unlucky but they do small sponge cakes in the main area but I've only seen huge matcha swiss rolls in plastic on the side and i don't want that much all at once!

Can’t explain how much me and my partner love this place. The prices are amazing for the amount you can get and my god the food is so good. My favourite is the char Sui bun, perfect flavour of the meat and the bun making me want to eat it non-stop! Wish I could give more than 5 stars lol

We love the fresh egg tarts from here. Popped in this morning and they were still baking in the oven. I was happy to wait 10 mins to enjoy a warm one! The breads are fresh and delicious! The lady behind the counter was friendly and quick!

A great selection of fantastic Chinese bakery items: pineapple buns, red bean buns, Portuguese egg tarts, chess cakes, wife cakes, cocktail buns, Taiwanese chicken buns, ... I love them all!

Best bakery I've tried! Everything is good, the cakes are so soft and fluffy! The staff is super friendly and helpful and make the atmosphere lovely! I traveled over an hour on the bus just to try this bakery and it was worth it! Will be back soon :)

I am very grateful i can eat all this amazing asian bakery product in Newcastle. I like good food, quality food. I move to live in UK, I always craving asian good food and this bakery make me comfort. I go once a week and get all my favourite takes home. I am very happy and they so delicious. If i live near will go everyday.

If you want a little bit of Hong Kong in your life, this is a must if you are a local or new to Newcastle upon Tyne. You will go away with a smile with all the delicious food on offer. This betters anywhere else in UK, even London's Leicester Square.
