Came across this great little place today. Being a country lad, I got thoroughly lost in Newcastle today trying to find the BBC broadcasting centre. Having found a parking space on the street nearby I inquired of the gentlemen in the shop if they knew of any taxi ranks nearby. Completely above and beyond his call of duty, one of the courteous guys called me a cab and I made it in time for my appointment. Relieved and grateful, I called in for lunch when I arrived back. Absolutely superb panini with salami and ementel cheese. Thanks again, guys and I hope to be back again...not counting on getting lost again though!
Delicious food! Loads of options of fillings made to order. Great variety of crisps, drinks, cakes and sweets to choose from too! Bonus: they use 100% degradable plastic bags � last but not least, very friendly staff! :)
Great local, deli sandwich shop with fresh bread, daily specials, amazing bakery and top staff. The place to go on the Quayside for excellent lunchtime food and drink. All freshly made to order with tasty snacks and drinks including barista coffee. Friendly crew, free book swap shelf, amazing homemade sausage rolls, tempting sweet treats and a fine array of small, green, plastic soldiers. Very highly recommended.
I have lived near Made Deli for around 2 years and have only ever walked past it. The queues are usually very long at lunchtime and today I found out why. The sandwich I bought from them was unbelievably good. Every single ingredient in the sandwich tasted like a premium ingredient and you can tell they've spent a good amount of time sourcing the right stuff. The staff were quick and friendly too. I'll definitely be back to try more combinations. The pickles were out of this world though. Excellent.
Large choice of sandwiches available. Great portion size and value for money. High quality fillings and bread choice. Will definitely be returning.
Freshly made sandwiches with wider choice of fillings cater for both veg/non veg. Staff are really lovely and attentive to the needs of customers. Can not find any negative to be honest.
The sandwiches here are absolutely superb, really generous with the fillings and really good value for money. It can get quite busy so I’d recommend putting an order in online beforehand which is super easy to do on their website
A lovely little sandwich shop. Really fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Lots of choice and the ability to make your own sandwich with lots of options. Will definitely come back.

Great sandwich deli. Chicken, Chorizo, Garlic Mayo, Mango Chutney and Salad is a particular favourite.
Had a flat white which was also really good.
It does get busy at lunchtimes, but go before or after and there are usually no queues.
The deli also usually has some nice looking savouries on offer for example today was a pork and pesto sausage roll.
They also have a good selection of sweet treats, brownies etc.
They stock a decent selection of drinks and crisps too.
Parking isn't that easy near the Deli, but it's easy walking distance from central Newcastle.
Been going here for years to buy lunch, highly recommended -great choice of ingredients for any sandwich/salad you can imagine, tasty sweet treats and really friendly staff. If you're stuck for ideas be sure to check out their Sandwich of the Day for inspiration 👌
My highlight of driving an hour to come into office is going to Made Deli! Absolutely beautiful wraps, the cakes are so fresh, really top quality ingredients. I tried making my own wrap at home (my regular of tuna, feta, basil pesto, lemon mayo, sunblush tomato and watercress, absolutely gorgeous btw 👌) anyway it just did not compare 🤣 I'm moving office and I'm devestated to have had my last lunch today! (Unless I'm ever in town of course). Really friendly staff too, keep up the good work!
