Pleasant gastropub in the heart of gosforth. Lovely sun trap on their terrace with easy to use app, efficient service and friendly staff. Food was good especially the crumble but not sure the high prices were merited in the quality

10/10 for food, service, surroundings and the kitchen being open until 10pm early week. And dog friendly too ! Can’t fault it. The Posh Pollo burger was wow !
We ordered a sharing platter for Sunday lunch! It was really amazing, tasted delicious and lots of different meat to try out !
Staff are really nice and helpful and service with a smile. Food was unreal, asked for a bacon and cheese burger and that's exactly what I got, instead of a disgusting tower of mess like most places do these days (trying to be different). Lots on the menu that i'd like to try. Atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming and loved the decor. Thank you Brandling Arms definitely be back.
Good atmosphere and polite friendly staff. We went twice in 2 days. They offer cocktails and plenty of drink choices. Dog friendly too with a good outside area with some cover and heating. All in all very nice here.
Spectacular Sunday roasts! Generous servings, absolutely delicious, beautifully presented.
Went with my family, we had pork, beef and chicken roasts, all fab. Humongous Yorkshires!
All staff were friendly and attentive, and shout-out to Chef Daz, stellar job mate!

The brandling is always a quality experience, dog friendly pub, the food is fantastic and they serve low alcohol beer on tap which is not common but greatly appreciated as I'm taking a break from drinking. Just had a fantastic Sunday lunch, my sister really enjoyed nut roast today and our burgers were outstanding so thanks to the chefs, Luca and Chris, for that. Ryan and Jessy were brilliant, kept our drinks topped up and made sure we were having a good time. Thanks! We will definitely be back.
A casual/relaxed atmosphere, great for some food and a few drinks with the dog (pet friendly). A varied menu and an extensive choice at the bar. The rosemary and parmesan fries are something else! Staff are friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.
What a wonderful afternoon at The Brandling Arms to celebrate our daughter’s christening with our nearest and dearest! We hired the venue room at the pub which is very smart and spacious. The Sunday roast buffet was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of food for everybody. The children’s food was also lovely. Communication was superb in the run up to the event by all managers and the staff couldn’t do enough for us on the day. Thank you so much!
Great sharing platter lots of food for two and dog freindly, I'd advise booking as quite busy, fast service from Martha, app is not the best so just order at the bar.
It would be five star if beef was a little pinker and crackling was crisp not chewy but that's a minor detail.
Solid, fast Sunday dinner would recommend.
