Wonderful one-stop shop place. And it is located in Eldon Square, so very handy for an all day shopping plan.
A department store with its own brand, certainly not average one, but quality one. The M&S brand is also interestingly called “down-to-Earth cost luxury.”
It has its own opticians that opens as the department store. It is really handy.
I was also very impressed with the commemorative biscuit tins and tea tins. It is with nice design that I’d like to collect.
The shop is well-staffed so the experience was great and the product range is wide although it does not sell much other brands.
Opticians with in the store is fabulous from first arriving for an appointment to the eye care and eye test, the care and service was exceptional.
Myself and husband were delighted and bought two pairs of glasses each and I have decide to take up their offer of another pair half price before December.
The quality of the frames and lenses are the very best we both opted for M&S branded frames and they are really quality expensive looking, one of my pair is very similar to Kate Spade Designer frames.
The cases the glasses came in were also top quality with a good sized cleaning cloth of really good quality and some lenses cleaning wipes to.
Oops nearly forgot we were both given free hearing tests to 😃
Perfect for both grocery shopping and for clothing and homeware. Very helpful staff, especially when stressing over children's uniforms.
Absolutely love what's on offer over Christmas in here.
I only went In for a bag really good service helpfull staff they have a cafe inside I know the also donate food to homless shelters and properly food banks witch makes it a better store its quit a big store you most likely you can get everything in their thanks for the bags
I was in this shop recently and 2 members of staff went above and beyond to help me find items. Linda at customer service and Betty from the shop floor were so kind and helpful. They couldn’t have done more for me. Thank you so much, a credit to your company. First class
Good supermarket for families. Nice bakery with the tastiest baguette. Cheap beef mince. Fresh diversity of flowers.
Very surprised to find out that this shop will no longer serve me with brown or wholemeal toast anymore !!
V.good service otherwise
M&S cafe Northumberland St Newcastle.
We had sandwiches, a cake, two coffee for £17, which i thought was good value especially as the food was so well presented. I would recommend the cinnamon bun, but I wouldn't bother with the magic coffee, its not as nice as it looked.
One of the oldest chain in Europe where you found grocery n garments of good quality and best price
Great place to shop quality clothing and other products. Also the cafe is really good and has variety of options to choose from. Also the architecture is really pleasing to the eye and well built. Just love M&S!
