Nice coffee place by the Tyne river. Always queue for ice-cream. Beautiful and peaceful environment.
one of the best ice creams I had the pleasure to have in town. I would recommend the toffee flavour!
Best and amazing ice-cream I’ve ever had, try lemon one 👍🏾😋
It's was a little cloudy and cold on the day I visited but there was still a queue of people waiting to be served. They had a number of different flavours (it was too busy to get a picture of the counter 🤦🏽♀️) and lots of different options for cones and cups. I opted for a 2 scoop tub with lemon drizzle cake and Pistachio. Lemon drizzle was a little too sweet, but I loved the cake chunks in the ice cream. Pistachio was delicious, had a lovely roasted pistachio flavour that wasn't too overpowering. I also purchased some cannelloni 's to take away. These were way too sweet - almost boardering on sickly. I probably wouldn't buy these again. They also serve coffee, pizzas, panini's and a variety of Italian sweet treats. Would recommend a visit if you're in the area.
Absolutely delicious gelato, some of the best I’ve had in awhile! The mint choc chip and chocolate fudge brownie were both incredible. Definitely coming back here!
Only ever go here for takeaway Ice cream which is absolutely delicious. It’s quite pricey - cheapest cone with 1 scoop of gelato is £2.80 so I can imagine a family would spend quite a lot! But you get what you pay for and it’s award winning gelato. Today we had banoffee and batten burg, both of which were yummy!
Fantastic! I wondered why I haven’t discovered that spot sooner! 🍦 lovely place with a variety of high quality gelato 🍨 It’s worth a go! I tried the best flavours they have, pistachio and ferrero rocher and Belgian chocolate for my little one, it was extremely delicious 🤤
I would have rated this cafe 5 stars however today 16/06 we were very disappointed by the staff attitude and the dirty tables.
We visit for ice cream, cannoli and coffee regularly. Admittedly the cafe was very busy but we asked for water for the dogs and after a wait the man put the bowl out of reach under a tree. I said that we’d asked for it for the dogs and as they were under our table tied up they couldn’t reach. He rudely responded that they put the water there.
My daughter didn’t realise as she was in the queue so asked for more water for the dogs and was charged 30p for a plastic cup. There were no serviettes. We cleaned our own table with wet wipes as did the girl on the next table.
The ice cream is just so delicious that we probably will come again but it’s a real pity that our experience was marred by a poor attitude.
Great place for families and friends. Went here with my grandchildren for lush many flavours of ice cream and a cuppa. Thank you
Award winning ice cream from a shop in the Newcastle Quayside area. Loads of great flavours to enjoy. Also other Italian treats sold here. Always very busy so shop early to avoid disappointment!
