Hmmburger

My favourite burger place. It was recommended by some friends and since I tried, I bring everyone who visits me to this place. The clucker a pulled pork are my favourites, and the sweet potato fries are delicious. It's also worth trying the desserts (cheesecake and warm sponge in the photos). The staff is very friendly and polite, and helpful if you have some dietary restrictions.

Had a great meal there this evening, a group of 6. Tables were joined to accommodate us. There was a wheelchair user present who had also been accommodated in the space. A cyclist delivery person returned several times during our meal so clearly locals order from here too. No missing food or drink items. The food was cooked for us so took a little while but was therefore fresh and hot and well-presented, and delicious. The waitress was attentive but not annoyingly so. Fries portions were generous. No one in our group left any food. Very reasonably priced too. Would recommend and will seek out again in future.

I've been to lots of Burger places all over the UK and in the USA. This place was a good (pleasant) surprise, as it is now in my top 3. Burgers were large (6oz) and tasty, plus cooked how you like, (rare/medium/well done etc). Sides were also great. We had fries, home made onion rings, coleslaw and sweet potato fries. All were tasty and well cooked. The only negative would be the Burger Buns...why is it that every Burger joint these days insist on serving Brioche Buns, I appreciate it maybe a fashion fad, but...why not offer a choice?! 🍔 🍟
