The service was very nice, attentive and fast, I ordered a Sunday roast and unfortunately my meat was very chewy and had a horrible texture. My partner's sunday roast was ok, I guess I was just unlucky. The crispy squid was tasty and the dessert was my favourite thing, warm jam sponge with custard.

Lovely family ran house, great choice of real ales, lagers ect and when needed a lovely open fire, bar snacks are tasty n reasonable In price, good Sunday lunch, and a wonderful outside space ! Very supportive of local traditions and events .

This is the third christmas we have had our family Christmas meal at the George and Dragon. We initially chose the pub because of it central location for everyone to travel to. I cannot praise the owners and staff highly enough. Always a friendly welcome. The Christmas food was excellent and extremely good value for money. For starter I had soup followed by the traditional turkey meal and finished off with Christmas pudding. We were a large party comprising of adults and young children. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The food was served Promptly and no one was left waiting. Thank you again and we look forward to next years visit
