Just wanted to pop a message to say I was in Newmarket for three days to take part in an education course and to conduct some independent research - all three days I ate here, all the staff were lovely and the portions were generous for breakfast. Special mention to Dermot who was the absolute best - amiable, very professional and always with a smile.
The food was lovely and couldn't complain. Wasn't as busy as I would have expected, especially for New Year's Eve, which made it a cosy atmosphere as we were tucked away in an alcove. Service was good and the cost reasonable. The only thing I could have marked it down for was that they didn't have all the ingredients for one of the cocktails, but there were enough other options.
Good pub food and breakfast. Top service from Dermot who is always highly professional well mannered and greets everyone with a warm welcome each morning. 10/10 !
