Hubby and I treated ourselves on our anniversary to a delicious meal here. Plenty of yummy vegetarian choices. Chicken was flavored well, tender, and savory. Tried the Popcorn Martini which had a cute sweet popcorn accent. Not inexpensive, but well worth the money! The place was decked out for Halloween and customer service was spot on. Thank you!

One of our favourite authentic Italian restaurants! Super friendly staff with generous portions. The staff even set up the balloons that I had dropped off for our anniversary prior to our arrival. This one of many dinners enjoyed at Unico and its alway prepared impeccably. I recommend the calzone pizza its my personal favourite. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely love this restaurant. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and a friendly and helpful team. I had the Mediterranean Prawns 🍤 in a garlic butter on delicious toasted homemade bread to start, and then the Linguine Spicy Beef as the main. Both were huge and so good! They also serve incredible cocktails - the Bloody Mary’s are delicious! The Sicilian ‘Messina’ beer was awesome too!! 😀🍻🍺

Reservations highly recommended as this is a popular eatery. We ordered the caramelized onion bread, calamari, lobster, steak, chicken pasta, gluten free vegan pasta, tirimisu. Every choice was delicious. Cannot express how wonderful the staff is.

Made a booking for 10 people for Father's Day over the telephone. The booking was a bit difficult to make as there was a language barrier. The restaurant itself was really nice - it was well set out and tastefully decorated. On arrival we were greeted and shown to our table in a welcoming way. The service was prompt - we didn't feel rushed at all and someone was on hand whenever we needed them. After ordering, the drinks and food came in a timely manner and was well presented. The food itself was tasty and well portioned (both adult and child alike). Good selection of desserts which were devoured by all. My only small gripe was that the air conditioning was focussed on us resulting in the food getting colder quickly and us feeling a little like snowmen. Otherwise, would recommend and will visit again!

We were passing through Newmarket on a Saturday evening and decided to stop for some food, walking down the high street Unico caught our eye with its menu. It was busy and we didn’t have a booking but they managed to squeeze us in. I couldn’t decide what to have the menu looked too good, lots of choice. We settled on calamari, onion flatbread and bruschetta to start. Amazing flavours and great portion sizes. For mains we had chicken Milanese and spaghetti carbonara. Again, great portion sizes. For dessert we had tiramisu and cheesecake. We don’t usually get dessert but they looked sooo good. Decor and atmosphere were lovely. I’d 100% recommend Unico to anyone visiting Newmarket.

It is definitely a place for a business meeting or a fancy dinner date or lunch with your coworkers even a proposal lol. It's a very classy, fancy, bougie atmosphere, you have to clean up nice for. I went there for a late lunch (kitchen closes at 1500 for dinner preparations), Customer service was impeccable and the other customers looked like they were having a good time. I will be visiting again with several guests for an event. I had the Margherita pizza as my main and it was delicious, the cheese and the tomato sauce was fresh (this is coming from someone that does not like cheese). The wine menu looked good (I don't drink alcohol). The garlic bread though was not so appetizing and I didn't eat the Bruschetta (carb overload). Also, I think the thickness of the bread put me off. My friend is vegetarian and she had some kind of bean soup (I cannot remember the name of the dish) and she have it a 5 out of 5.
