Called up to see if they were still serving as most other pubs had shut for the afternoon. The lady was friendly and polite and reserved a table for us.
Lovely setting and larger inside than it looks. Drinks were ordered and served quickly. Good choice of food available which was served with a smile. Various meals, lasagna, mixed grill, cod & chips, hunters chicken were all fresh, hot and served to us within good time.

Food amazing. Sat outside due to dogs but the sun was shining - in October - but atmosphere seemed good inside when ordering. Service was impeccable. Only passing through but would return if local

I've driven past this pub so many times going to and from work that it was nice to finally get around to having lunch there with my wife. It has good parking and is nice inside. There were a few nice hand pulled beers and the menu was varied with something for most people. Good friendly service and all in all a very nice experience. The view over the Severn was nice too.
Excellent food, servings are very generous, very friendly and helpful staff. Party of 10 all left feeling extremely satisfied.

We arrived here after a journey from Nottingham, and we had a lovely time. The locals were really friendly and the staff were very welcoming also. The food was good pub food. Discovered something called the Severn Bore (but we missed it). We will definitely be back to visit again. The views are also really lovely. would highly recommend.
We only stopped for a quick snack and a drink on our journey home but the service was quick and the staff were friendly.
