I have never been served greasy food in here, the batter has always been crispy on everything including the burgers. Would certainly recommend this place.

I recently started going to this chip shop quite regularly. The food is to a good standard but the only let down is that the portions are a bit on the small side in some cases. Although I am not much of a fan of the chips on their own, products like gravy or cheese can really make up for it and make for a nice meal. The prices in here are also quite good, a decent meal can be bought for £5. The people in here are also friendly enough to talk to.

We poped in on our way back from the doctors and my lovely lady molly who I help out (age 86) told the man behind the counter how she use to work there many years ago, when we asked how much our order was he replied its free to staff, What a lovely act of kindness made my mollys day

Just had the best fish, chips & mushy peas in Newport, fish very fresh batter light and crispy to die for, chips and mushy peas excellent all piping hot just one problem too large a quantity but not really complaining would definitely recommend.
