Had a few times here now and lovely Indian curry chips on tray. Also fish & chips, but what’s kept me going back is my children and I wanted chips there back a few years ago and I lost £10 getting out of the car, I sent my son Cori Knapman to have a quick look and couldn’t find it anywhere. I went to cancel the order and he slapped the counter saying “look take them come back one day pay me” so I did. Been going back ever since. Good service good food good prices.

Had jumbo sausage in batter with chips and curry sauce. The owner was extremely friendly. The portion size was just perfect.
If I'm in the area again I would definitely go again.
Hands down the best fish and chips I've had in Wales/Southwest. It's halal and the battered sausage is great too. The price is great when considering the portions.
Great variety of meal deals and there's something there for everyone. However, I wouldnt recommend vegan fried food such as fritters as they are fried in the same oil as fish, burgers etc.
The owner provides a great service by greeting you upon entry and when ordering will give you some info on the food being order to ensure the customer isn't mislead. I'll give my example, I ordered the fish bites and chips meal, the owner explained the bites aren't all cod as it's a mixture of white fish, cod, plaice and haddock but despite of this the fish bites were very tasty and not greasy at all, this was also a good value for money.
Highly recommended and I feel this is the heart of Maindee.

Great value for money, good food, plenty of it! Lots of regular customers when I was in there so that says everything. Convenient opening hours too
When u go make sure u are hungry the portions are massive the owner is one of the friendliest guys u can't meet the food is top rate
