Twinz Fish Bar

My second year at the annual Tredegar House Folk Festival, and this was once again my go-to for food. Really friendly service, HUGE portions, reasonable prices. This year, I tried the 'chicken doner', which was actually more like lots of pieces of tandoori chicken cooked doner-style and served wrapped in a naan--delicious! Pity about the weather... for the benefit of the owner, I was the older lady walking with a stick.

Just finished our dinner from Twinz Fish Bar. It would have got a 5 star review but for the missing chicken and mushroom pie from its chips, had to share out some of the two curries we had ordered. As for the starters 3 x chicken tikka starters these were absolutely top draw in terms of quality, taste, presentation and were amongst the best we have had. The chicken tikka masala was in the top 10 curries we have had and you know we live near the curry capital of the UK and to be in the top 10 for us was some going. It was awesome and deserved a 5 star rating. The Korachi was again brilliant in terms of quality and taste Overall a big recommendation for Twinz fish bar but deducted a star for an incomplete order. Don't like to pay for something we didn't get. Would have definitely been 5 star in terms of reception and friendly, quality and taste, value for money (minus a chicken pie !) PS, had to share my masala .......... criminal offence to share something so great...... just don't tell her ladyship I said that..... Laters all. Updated. 22nd Feb. Went back for out last meal out for our visit to the area. Spoke with the team there who remembered our missing chicken and mushroom pie incident ! And promptly apologised and added it to our order. We highly recommend this place for high quality and most excellent take out food. Be prepared to wait a while whilst it is cooked fresh to order and well worth the wait be assured from our experience. It's a shame we live so far away but future visits to this area will ensure our return visit. We have reinstated this to its deserved 5 star rating Best wishes to the Twinz team.

I love this place. It's a one stop shop. It's great when you have different parties wanting to order different types of food. With Twinz you can get from fish n chips, Donner kebab to Currys. The portion size to value is also good. The food is also very tasty and the service is first class. Will definitely go there again.
