This was a lovely find. The service was impeccable. The food divine. The specialty drinks creative. A wonderful and successful fusion of flavors

We came here for dinner and made a reservation. On a warm day, the atmosphere outside would be amazing. The entrance is Bayfront so be sure to keep going until you reach the front. The sushi was decent but not exceptional. It was a solid meal though the ingredients didn't seem quite as fresh as I would have liked.

Great spot on water. Would've liked a stronger drink but they were absolutely delicious!! Sushi rice is creamy not vinegar. Great tuna. Good food.

A wonderful atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff topped off with a glorious meal! Have eaten here before but this time we reserved a table by the window for a view of the bay for our 9 year anniversary. A great time was had

Super great experience! Love the oysters aphrodisiac and mixed tempura appetizers! Nigiri was also amazing, as were the full rolls. The views are breathtaking too, you CAN HEAR SEA LIONS in the dining room or on the patio/deck area! It was a very unique spot I fully recommend

When I'm at the beach, all I wanted to eat was fish, and when I found Asiatico, I couldn't be more excited. My husband and I sat outside, and it was perfect weather for it.
Our waiter was kind and helped us out with any questions we had. We were offered complimentary miso soup or a house salad. I had the miso, and it had a warm, smooth texture.
If you want sushi rolls, I want to warn you that they're huge and will fill you up. I recommend splitting the rolls if you're dining with others. Plus, it gives you a chance to share and try different rolls.
Second, the pork belly rice bowl was out of this world! The pork belly would melt in your mouth with just one bite. That's a meal I will never forget!
The tuna, the yellowtail, the salmon, and everything exceeded our expectations. I have never had a tuna filet that tender before. Overall, out of all the sushi restaurants I've been to, this was by far my top five best sushi restaurants.

The food here was amazing. We tried a variety of different dishes noodles, bento, and sushi. and they were all very good. Everyone left very happy. The space is very nice as well with lots of outdoor pier seating. It was a bit chilly but we made it work. They offered complementary miso soup which was very nice and helped with the cold

It was a glorious overcast day in Newport, and the Bayfront called to us. We enjoyed their outside area with an amazing view of the bridge. We started with a pot of the Mugi Cha and miso soup. We proceeded to the spicy tuna bites and tempura, followed by our sushi options and the asiatico salad.
The food was terrific, and the service was outstanding. We really enjoyed how the plates were staged and the pace our orders came out. My boo had been here before, but this was my first time. We will be back for certain!

You will never be disappointed with Asiatico! Food and service is always 10/10! Even if you don’t like sushi, there are several other options. This place is such a gem and will always be one of our favorites. The freshness and quality is outstanding. Our favorite roll is the Big Daddy. Also, they have the BEST calamari we’ve ever had!

We were visiting from California and stopped by for lunch. The waterfront location was splendid and enjoyable. It had been raining so we weren't able to sit on the deck. Upon arrival, we were seated at the large table in front of the sake wall display case. It was charming and made a great backdrop and cozy corner. The gentleman who helped us during our dining was very friendly and had great energy. We ordered the sparkling sake. My daughter and her boyfriend don't drink alcohol much and were pleasantly surprised with how much they liked the sake. For food (rated on scale of 1 to 5), we ordered the agedashi tofu (4 of 5), vegetable tempura (4 of 5), tasting bento (katsu (3 of 5-breading was too charred with Alaskan roll/Nigiri (4 of 5) and Godzilla Roll (3 of 5-not a huge fan of this version with cream cheese). Overall, food was nicely presented and tasty. We completed the experience with tempura ice cream and that was a delight. I highly recommend this family owned business for the fabulous view, location, cheerful atmosphere and tasty food option.
