Flashbacks Fountain And Grill

First time in the area! Food was awesome. This restaurant had a big selection of burger flavors and they all looked amazing! Price was average for a burger joint. The restaurant itself looked a bit run down. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful. I was hoping to have my burger served in one of those cute cars! Regardless, the food was great!!

BBQ bacon burger was fantastic. We love that you can get 4 different kinds of fries with your meal. We each ordered a different kind and shared. atmosphere was great. Kids loved playing arcade games while we waited for our food & they thought it was cool that the kids' meals came in a cardboard car that they got to keep. Great classic burger joint! Will definitely be back.

SO. MUCH. FOOD. Family (me, Mom, and cousin) went to Flashbacks for ice cream to pay tribute to my late aunt, just like we do every year on her birthday. Because none of us had eaten yet that day, we decided to order lunch first. I ordered the chicken strips and waffle fries. The strips were SO BIG, I could only eat one (there were three) and just a few of the fries. By then, I was so full I could only eat a little less than half of my one-scoop hot fudge Sunday (see photo -- doesn't leaving ice cream behind constitute some sort of felony?), and I was happy to note the kutchen staff is not afraid of a salt shaker. Mom had a basket of onion rings (she ate all but five) and a chocolate soda. My cousin ate ALL her veggie burger and waffle fries ("I was hungry!"), but I noticed she ate nothing else for the rest of the day. Meanwhile, I had two more full meals from mine. At $12 for the basket, it was a true bargain!

The food was pretty good overall; the atmosphere is pretty cool; old diner drive feel inside but the outside absolutely does not give that away at all. Service was on the slow end but she was friendly attentive and kind. Overall a fun little place to stop in for a quick American food pit stop on the coast! Loads of dessert options as well!
