Great spot for brunch; despite not serving alcohol. Shared two specials for the day: the raspberry, white chocolate pancakes and the steak & cheese scramble. Best balance of sweet and savory! I suggest making reservations, but be mindful that it is outdoor seating so if it is a hot day then there may be a wait even with a reservation. There are some tables with no shade, especially for guests of a party of two. Also be mindful that they are accommodating due to COVID-19. All staff are wearing masks. It seats nicely on the docks and the staff are attentive. If you don't want to wait for a table then they do offer takeout.

We had brunch here during our visit. The security at the main entrance is tight because they are located on a shipyard. You get to see multi million dollar boats as you walk up to the cafe entrance. We had the cubano, chocolate pancakes, texas size french toast, and a BLT. All of the food was amazing. The Texas sized french toast really was texas sized. It was huge and delicious.

We went to this place as it was suggested by google as a place for breakfast with good reviews. We arrived there at around 10 am, the queue was enormous when we arrived. Since we parked and played for the parking on the street, we decided to wait. We waited for more than 1 hour, standing in line. The queue was moving very slowly. I hoped that the food would make up for the wait. But actually no - the food was pretty average and portion size was not big. The lobster roll comes with a macaroni salad which is not a great choice per my opinion ( bread + macaroni :-/ )- salad would be better. Coffee is below average - cappuccino is from a pod machine. In total we paid almost $60 for mediocre breakfast - wasted one hour in queue on foot. Also, they charge you 12% for service - when it is a self-service, they don't even come to take your plates. You don't pay for service in a McDonald's, do you? They do not give you a receipt with itemized check - only a customer copy with a total. Overall, will never hold there again. Nice view of the warf does not compensate for all of the above.

We called ahead to ask about having our dog with us and the guy answering the phone said something like, "We love dogs, bring two or three. We look forward to seeing you soon." So the three of us packed up and headed out for the 25 minute drive. But when we arrived, we were told they couldn't seat us since we didn't have reservations. The girl at the front offered to go check since we said we'd called. After waiting 20 minutes for her to come back, we left. All around poor customer service. We ended up getting delicious Dunkin Donuts breakfast croissants in Downtown Newport and sitting in the churchyard overlooking the water.
