Diego's Newport

The guacamole was incredible, my pulled pork Cali Burrito had everything I love and they PULLED it off flawlessly. The drinks were fantastic, especially the "Passion of Spice", a mezcal concoction that pleasantly surprised. The staff were super pleasant and very knowledgeable and helpful as well! Entirely supreme experience.

We picked up some dinner from Diego's last night and it was very good. I had a bean burrito and was not disappointed. I also enjoyed chips and salsa as well as guacamole. Everything was just so good. I would definitely eat here again, without hesitation. There is an extensive Vegan and Gluten Free menu there as well, if that is what you are seeking...

We had such a fantastic time here! We came down to Newport for my husband's birthday and chose to do brunch at Diego's. We also had our 3-month old puppy with us! The server was incredibly warm and friendly and ensured that all our questions were answered. We also got a small birthday dessert at the end, and they wished my husband for his birthday. This was (surprisingly) the only restaurant over the course of the day that acknowledged the celebration (despite writing it in all the reservation notes!). We also ate at Bella Cafe and The Landing. In terms of customer service, Diego's is streets ahead! Thank you!!

Diego’s has always been a favorite of mine - and I came here recently with a group of friends. We were celebrating a big move for one of the girls. Our server Lynn was so friendly and timely with our drinks and food! It was so great that she took the time to chat with us about our day and celebration. The hostess Megan also came over to check on us, chat, and congratulate our friend as well! Our food was delicious and our margaritas were perfect, as always. Such a great day! Thank you Diego’s!

If you’re lucky enough to get a table - you’ll really love this place. Haven’t had much luck just walking in, so I recommend make a reservation a few days ahead. As a vegetarian, I really appreciate the many options on the menu, including an entirely vegan menu. We got a pitcher of the spicy margarita - so good!

Many people (myself included) tend to flock to seafood restaurants when it comes to coastal town such as Newport. Now...I'll be flocking to Diego's. What was going to be an afternoon break of nachos and a drink or two became one of my favorite dining experiences in Newport. The tiki drink was my favorite drink I had throughout my four days in Newport and the nachos were out of this world.
