Waited 20 mins for our waitress to come with water and take our order. Then waited another 40 minutes for our food, which was cold when we got it. The people at the table next to us were seated before us and got their food after us. My husband ordered the prime rib and a quarter of it was a huge chunk of fat that was inedible. They didn't charge him for his soup because they forgot about it and it came out with his meal. They gave us 10% off our meal, but also forgot to bring out the dessert that was part of the 3-course meal my husband ordered. Never going back.

Stopped in today after shopping at Newport base commissary as we do every month. I ordered the hot buttered lobster roll. When I was served by someone other than our waiter...the lobster roll was soft, spongy and soggy...just looking at the roll on the plate you could tell it was it not the toasted roll that goes with lobster...the lobster was good but I had to pick it out of the mushy roll with my fork. Not at a what I expected at my 99! The only reason I gave 3 stars was because of our waiter...he was kind, helpful and made us feel at home...he apologized for the roll and did 10 percent off the check...

I love this restaurant. I've been going here for years and have always had consistently good meals. The staff is very friendly, in fact, probably the most friendly that I've ever met in the restaurant business. It's actually without exception ... all servers are excellent. Try this restaurant ... you will likely become a regular like me.
