I don't have a long lengthy review about this place. It's a cute little 50s styled diner. The food is really good. Breakfast or lunch. Healthy serving size. The waitresses are always nice and kind. They have my favorite coffee. I've been going here for probably 15 years. I'll keep going if I'm in the area. I highly recommend. They are cash only but have an atm inside.

Perfect local joint. Huge plates and attentive, friendly staff. Everything was delicious: eggs, pancakes, meats, home fries (spicy!), and sausage biscuits with gravy. A tad salty but man-to-man good. The short order cook was impressive to watch!

I went for breakfast and man was the food absolutely delicious. Its the nostalgic and comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff that treats you like family that really brings it home ontop of the amazing food for me. I had the farmers omelette and they loaded it up, the omelette was the size of my face! The prices are unmatched for such high quality service and food. Id come here everyday if i lived here but unfortunately im just staying on vacation. Id come back to Newport just to have some more of their food. Definitely give them a try! I full heartedly recommend the farmers omelette!

The food was absolutely fantastic and our server was excellent and charismatic. I ordered their famous turkey sandwich(turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, lettuce, side of fries), 2 sunnyside eggs with toast, and a side of stuffing. Everything was delicious, the food came out fast, and the prices were very reasonable. My only complaint is that I wish I found Bishop's Diner sooner! My friends and I will definitely be coming back here. (Note: cash only with ATM available)

What a great find. Great breakfast at a great price. Better than other places that charge 3 times as much. Cash only, but have an ATM on site.

This place is awesome - awesome enough to push me to write a review! I do not write reviews very often. Great food, great portions, great service. If I lived in the area I would eat here every other day. 5 stars for sure!
